Why do this?

I’ve been meaning to put something out into the ether for a while. I have a lot of hobbies that I’ve wanted to pursue, but it feels less directed without a place to share them. Also, recently AI tooling has transformed my time spent tinkering from “max frustration/minimal gains” to the inverse. So here I have my new hub.

What to expect

I plan to share a few things:

• Software engineering — lessons from building and leading teams, tools I find useful, or the occasional deep-dive into something technical
• Music — musical projects, demos, playlists, album reviews, etc.
• Side projects — games, apps, and whatever else I end up building

No promises on a schedule. I will share things when they are worth sharing.

How it’s built

This site runs on Astro, which is new to me, but was suggested by Claude. It appears it is an up-and-coming framework and fits my use case well. It is deployed to AWS Amplify. I am keeping things oin the main site intentionally simple — static pages, near-zero JavaScript, and MDX for blog posts.
